Edmund B. Ault (1908-1989) established the firm in the late 1950s. His direction and many years experience as a prominent golf course architect helped the firm develop innovative design concepts and proven construction administration techniques. In 1984, the firm reorganized as Ault, Clark & Associates, Ltd. The philosophies and standards established by Ed Ault remain the guiding force.
