STONEHAVEN GOLF CLUB: Ranked No. 4 in the state of West Virginia in Golf Week Magazine. Stonehaven GC at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, West Virginia official opened in September 2003. One day before hurricane Isabel ravaged the east coast, dignitaries gathered to officially welcome Glade Springs most recent addition to the already existing Cobb Course. Cooper Communities joined hands with Bright Enterprizes in adding a second course to the already famous resort. Stonehaven is a spectacular mountain course featuring bentgrass fairways, tees and greens with tremendous elevation changes carved out of mature hardwood forest. The course is over 7,000 yards from the tips to just 5,000 from the forward tees, and plays to a par 72. It features white sand bunkers accented with limestone "waste bunkers". A third course is currently being planned on the east side of the resort.
